Locally grown and chemical-free foods from Mid Wales.

Henbryn is a regenerative farm with market garden, set across 20 acres of upland Wales, near Llanfyllin, Powys.

We are a husband and wife team (Mike and Natasha), supported by our ever-tolerant 3 children, working to grow and rear food for the local community, using permaculture principles.

Although we are not certified organic, we do not use synthetic sprays or chemicals on our land. Instead we work with nature, operating as an integrated, closed-loop system where everything is connected and supported by each other.

Our focus is on building soil health, increasing biodiversity and resilience, and of course, creating great tasting and nutritious food!

At the heart of Henbryn Homegrown is a simple belief: food, land and wellbeing are all deeply interconnected.

Seasonal Food Boxes delivered to your door

We are launching our Henbryn Homegrown delivery service in Spring 2027. Initially our core service will offer fruits, vegetables and eggs, and in the near future expand to offer limited amounts of White Park grass-fed beef, lamb and pork.

Further down the line we hope to be able to add honey and dairy products, plus some more unique and unusual offerings from our forest garden. These things take time to grow and establish though – as they say, the best things come to those who wait!

All of our produce is grown and reared here at Henbryn, and delivered to our local community within an approximate 5 mile radius of SY22. Areas include Llanfyllin, Llanfair Caereinion, Pont Robert, Meifod, Dolanog and Llwydiarth. Collection is also possible if you live further afield. We are hoping to arrange pick up points in the future.

If you are local to us, we do hope you will support us and try our produce, which we promise will be fresher, tastier and more nutritious than anything you will buy in the supermarkets.

About us and the farm...

Henbryn Homegrown began with a simple philosophy -  that food should be grown in a way that supports nature, human and animal health and wellbeing, rather than undermining it.

With a background as a naturopathic nutritionist, Natasha has spent many years working one to one with people to improve their health through nutrition and lifestyle, and raising awareness of the huge benefits that eating healthily has for us. Natasha has long advocated for chemical-free, locally-grown and nutrient dense food as a foundation for health.

So together, Mike and Natasha wanted to create a local food system that offers an alternative to industrial supply chains – giving people access to food they can trust.

At Henbryn Homegrown we believe the future of food production and wellbeing is local, transparent and regenerative. Healthier land equals healthier people, which creates cohesive and happy communities and leads us to a better future for the next generation.

Learning together – education and community

This is at the heart of what we do and why we do it. We want Henbryn to be a place for learning, connection and wellbeing.

We hope to run future events combining horticulture, tree planting and learning about regenerative land practices along with nutrition workshops and education. We hope these sessions will help reconnect people with food systems, soil health, their wellbeing, and each other.

We are currently looking into ways we can get this aspect up and running. Please watch this space as we hope to have some exciting news and events in this area soon...
